Welcome to Camp Gan Israel Southampton. We are part of the largest and fastest growing network of Jewish camps in the world.
We are committed to providing a superb day camp experience for Jewish children in the Hamptons. From our ‘Mini Gan’ to pioneer division, campers enjoy a wide range of exciting activities and field trips in a warm and spirited atmosphere. We offer outstanding sports, athletics and creative arts programs under the guidance of professional instructors who are highly qualified in their field. Our warm and nurturing staff work to develop skills, confidence and a sense of fair play within each child.
We are delighted to introduce our brand new Gan Israel Sports Camp where campers can enjoy everything Gan Israel has to offer plus participate in structured sports clinics daily in soccer, baseball, basketball and flag football.
Our fast growing ‘Mini Gan’ offers a wonderful opportunity for children ages 2-4 years old to have their first experience in a real summer camp.
The children are guided in organized activity, play and social skills by loving, patient and caring staff who serve all year as preschool teachers.

More About Our Camp
Gan Israel is much more than a physical break from the school routine and winter activities. It’s a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the body and soul. It provides your child with a rich and wholesome summer vacation of fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.
Camp SitesOur Mini Gan program takes place at the Southampton Montessori School adjacent to the Shinnecock golf club. The beautiful grounds of 2 and 1/2 acres are completely private and provide for a safe and secure camp environment.
Our Junior and Pioneer program takes place at Southampton Stonybrook campus. With 50 acres of sports fields, tennis courts, basketball courts and an indoor gym.
Staff
Gan Israel prides itself on its exceptional staff. All our staff come with prior camp experience and a desire to work with kids. We are dedicated to small groups with exceptional staff supervision. This assures the best possible care and instruction for our campers. Our counselors are highly trained, dedicated and experienced and are fully trained in First Aid and CPR. Our counselors are known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual.
Sports
Campers will participate in many different sports and receive expert coaching from our professional sports coach. With patience and encouragement the children will develop good sportsmanship and teamwork as well as confidence.
Jewish Culture
Exciting hands on activities, songs, stories, Challah baking and Shabbat celebrations are all part of the unique Gan Israel experience and will imbue our campers with a great sense of pride in their Jewish heritage, and love for the land of Israel.
Special Activities and Events
Baking, weekly barbecues, magic shows, hands on science led by the LI Science Center, concerts, petting zoo, carnivals and dress up days add so much to the excitement of camp and challenge the children to develop their talents.
Trips
We will have one weekly trip every Wednesday to the children's favorite places: Berry picking, the Aquarium, Mattituck Farm & Petting Zoo, Mini Golf, Boomer's Family Fun, and Long Island Game Farm. Our pioneer division will enjoy their very own pioneer trips as well as a spectacular grand trip to Splish Splash water park.
Art and Ceramics
Our talented art instructor, Ranelle Wayne, will guide the children through different art projects using a variety of exciting mediums. The children will bring home their projects when they are completed.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics with its basic component of coordination, flexibility, strength and balance provides the foundation to develop an individual's inherent sports potential. Our program provides top quality gymnastic instruction that will be enjoyable and high energy. Gymnastics is led by Jeff of Jeff's Gymnastics Center.
