OUR PROGRAM:
Our Theater Program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your child to discover and enjoy the magic of Live Theater. We are excited to welcome back our Theater Director, Jenna Mate, of Bay Street Theater. Theater campers get to participate in all aspects of theater production: Acting, Singing, Dancing, and Costume Design. They partake in Theater Games and Improvisation which makes each session so much fun!

All Gan Israel campers ages seven and up can choose to join our Theater Program. Theater campers enjoy our classic Gan Israel morning program including all sports, tennis, swimming and weekly trips. Theater camp takes place three afternoons a week, from July 29th - August 15th. There is no extra fee involved.

All campers who wish to perform in our 2019 Theater Production, must be registered for a minimum of the following 4 weeks: (July 24th - August 17).
- Gan Israel Theater Production will take place on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at 6:00 pm - At The Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton Village
Jenna Mate Biography
Jenna Mate, our Theater Director is a director, actor and voice coach. She has worked with numerous children's theaters and she's committed to fostering creativity, individuality and confidence in her students. Jenna holds a BFA in drama from Syracuse University and a Masters in Theater Education from the University of Houston, where she had the opportunity to train with The Lincoln Center Theatre Group. Recent directing credits include, Once On This Island, Pipin, Carousel, and Defying Gravity.
